Second Quarter 2010 (April-June)
This was the period in which the plaster paintings, along with stucco decorations and gilding of the Ceremonial Staircase and the future representative premises, were finalized.
Cabinetwork on wooden floors and wall panels was also completed.The mains, wirings and other networks and installations neared the stage of completion, particularly the sound system, alarm system and power cabling.
With archaeological survey completed in most parts of the palace courtyard, the final surface pavement was laid.
Reconstruction of the roofs, façades and interiors of the guardhouses situated in the Courtyard of Honour was completed, the surface coating of Triumphal Gates finalised, and decorative stone trophies installed.
In the middle of the Courtyard of Honour, an equestrian statue of the Great Moravian King Svätopluk was erected.
The renovation of the Treasury House was completed and its newly reconstructed interior housed a remarkable exhibition (in May) entitled ARS LITURGICA -- Goldsmithery in the Services of Liturgy.
A new playground featuring various attractions for the youngest visitors of the Bratislava Castle was set up on the lower eastern terrace.
