2nd Quarter of 2009 ( April – June)
In this period, the restoration works were focused on facades of the Castle palace where stone elements were restored and another layers of undercoating plaster were applied.
Engineering networks for ventilation system, public health engineering, heavy current and light current were installed. The building of vertical technical shafts was coming to end and collecting works under north - eastern hip together with building of interconnection to the building of Orangery continued. Plastering was finished on the 4th floor in the area of depositories of the Slovak National Museum and preparatory works for plastering of other floors started. While archeological survey in the Castle palace courtyard is coming to an end, the same work on the Northern Terrace is in full swing. Also, the renewal of sewage on terraces of the Castle wine room continues. Builders are restoring dormers and preparing embedding of chimneys on the palace roof. Excavation works for cable leads of illumination of the Bratislava Castle started.
